Kiko is an Italian brand that is taking Europe by storm, with really-really affordable products, and some amazing gems. There are a few stores in Portugal (and also an online store), and once there I was immediately drawn to the eyeshadows.
The Infinity eyeshadows are part of their CLICS system: you buy the eyeshadows and there are a few palette sizes to choose from, with a very practical and simple clic system, with which you can easily rearrange the shadows – and there you have it: a totally customisable palette filled with amazingly beautiful eyeshadows, creamy, pigmented and blendable for… 4,99€ a pop! it’s bang for your buck! those eyeshadows are up there in quality, let me tell you.
You have a stunning 92 colours to choose from in this collection, with finishes from matte to shimmer or satin, and an extra 11 shades in the Infinity+Sparkle collection, which have a very high shine/metallic finish.
And now for the bonus: they are currently doing a sale, with each eyeshadow for 2,49€ AND they throw in a 24 slot palette for free (I don’t know if this one is only in store).
I just ran to the store and created my 24 palette with the shades available (they don’t have all the shades in store), and I also got a 9 pan palette, to take a more travel-friendly selection with me to the theatre. Since they’re so affordable without compromising quality, I’m not afraid to hit pan on them, so they’re perfect for stage makeup.
And I have a feeling this won’t end here… Since they have more colours online, I may have to check it out to see what I may be missing ;))
Below I leave you with my collection – lots of neutral tones, plenty of mattes, some shimmers to play on the eyelids, or to highlight, and some more bright colours (always jewel toned) just in case – even a bright pink to double as a blusher.
