smokey eye

the deep, the misterious, the quintessential.

it creeps from the depths of darkness by the lashes, gathers full force on the lid, becomes faint on the crease, just to smoke into thin air by the brow bone.

now there’s some makeup poetry for you.

it became a thing when it was full black, it’s always in with shimmers and metallics, but, for me, the matte chocolate-y brown throws it out of the park.

here’s a step by step for you. fear not: it can be easily achievable with some cream eyeshadow and a brush, but I can’t help but play with the classic techniques, just to hear my sister saying “it’s too hard, I can’t do it!”

I used the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Palette because I live to play with my new toys, but when deciding on colours and finishes just follow your heart.

any doubt, don’t hesitate to ask.
