monochromatic looks — the taupes

I’ve challenged myself to do a series of looks based on just one colour/colour family. this week: the taupes!
wanna know if I made it? watch the video. all the products will be listed below

my base was already done (you can refer to my video on no-makeup-makeup for textured skin to know all about it), so I went straight to the colours:

as a cream contour, I used MUFE Cream Pro Sculpting Palette.

on the eyes, I created a subtle smokey eye using Make Up Geek eyeshadows in Barcelona Beach, Taupe Notch, Hipster and, for the matte highlight, Vanilla Bean. I lined the inner rims with NYX Tres Jolie Gel Liner in Brown, and finished with several coats of Clinique Lash Power Mascara.

after concealing and powdering, I intensified my contour with the lighter contour shade in the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette, and warmed up the skin —still within the neutral family — with a bit of Hoola Bronzer, by Benefit. a bit of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal finished the look, both on the tops of the cheekbones and on the inner corners of the eyes and a touch on the center of the lids.

on the lips, the classic: M.A.C. Whirl (lip pencil and lipstick).

how did I go?
