in the evening, I want to get to sleep ASAP, so I keep it fairly minimal, only switching up a few products when I’m in the mood for pampering.
check out my post on cleansers to get to know the ones I use.
also, my morning skincare routine is out.
Acid Toner
Pixi Glow Tonic (also available at Beauty Bay and Look Fantastic)
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads (Look Fantastic and Feelunique also carry)
Retinoid
Luna Sleeping Night Oil, Sunday Riley (also available at Sephora.com)
sometimes combined with Good Genes by Sunday Riley (lactic acid exfoliant). This makes a beautiful face mask (leave a thick layer on for 10 minutes, and can also be used in the a.m. before moisturiser)
Mentioned suggestions:
Skinceuticals range (in the .uk site I could only find 0.3% retinol, but I’m sure they have a 0.5% and a 1% versions, too)
The Ordinary Retinol 1%
Other Treatments (Glycolic-heavy-duty peels)
Alpha H Liquid Gold (also available at Look Fantastic and Beauty Bay)
Alpha H Beauty Sleep Power Peel with 0.5% Retinol, also available at Beauty Bay and Look Fantastic
The Ordinary also carries Lactic Acid (5% and 10%), but I wouldn’t say they’re comparable to Good Genes. Still, they’re, a good affordable alternative for those who don’t get along with Glycolic Acid!

Whenever I can, I invest in Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic+Retinol Eye Cream
