in-flight skincare (and makeup)

spending several hours in an airport and then on an airplane sucks the life out of your skin. if you’re facing jet lag or if you’ve had and intense few days prior to flying, that takes it to a whole other level.

as much as doing your skincare before going into the airport is super important, I find that trying to maintain the hydration levels during the flight is super important.

these are the steps I’ve been taking on my flights, and if yours are longer, just repeat them every few hours and slather on some overnight mask like the one from Laneige on top.

also, I never do my makeup when I’m flying, but if you’re in a pinch and need to be all done up by the time you step out of the plane, I’ve added a simple makeup routine to inspire you.

plus, if in your liquids bag you just add your cleanser(s) and some vitamin C, you’re basically all prepped up for your skincare while away ;)

the product shots were absolutely inspired by gelcream travel, and the original Gelcream account is just a sight for sore eyes.
