a new series has arrived… and what a start. just a week after I filmed everything, Urban Decay announced that they’re discontinuing their iconic Naked Palette, which is precisely the first one to be featured on my little Post-Youtube Beauty Hall of Fame.
it’s a piece of makeup History, and has marked countless first steps of millions of people in makeup. it’s no small feat to be the responsible for the complete rethinking of the concept of a makeup palette that is “beginner-friendly” throughout the whole industry. plus, this palette alone launched dozens of talented at-home make up artists into stardom.
featuring a pretty nice assortment of neutral but versatile shades, I dusted it off and tried to see if it still lived up to its cult status — by doing 4 different looks.
