Some people had huge artistic impulses and took the added time some of us had to play with make up with the freedom of a kid with watercolours. Sadly, it was not my case. Nonetheless, I still found som great gems that became staples in my make up routine, and that let me feel I wasn’t totally falling into a rut.
Sometimes I like to look at my beauty stash by brand to see what is my curated selection from it. Clinique is a brand I never noticed I had a strong relationship with, until I realised that some of their products are actually re-re-re-re-purchases. In this day and age of trends and companies coming out with new launches that they shove down your throat, this means A LOT (quite more than stuff I buy once and move on to the next new shiny equivalent from any other brand).
Here’s my curated selection of besties from Clinique (and a new fling I’m into at the moment):
Some people ask me why, of all things overseas, I keep purchasing stuff from Colour Pop.
Well, even with the steep customs, each product comes out at around 8€. and the quality of almost every single item I bought is top notch.
Enter the Lux Lipsticks. I’ve mentioned so many products on my channel, now I’ve decided to make a dedicated video just to my little lip wardrobe. The formula is high-end equivalent, the packaging is not only cute but expensive-feeling. They have so many colours it’s easy to make a curated selection of lipsticks for any occasion.
They can be used sheered out or full-impact with one swipe, mixed for new colours and topped up with some cool glosses for extra shine. Despite my lips being quite dry, these lipsticks — especially the bolder colours — are quite forgiving.
All in all, I haven’t found anything like these within this price range. So let my addiction run free.
not all bronzers are created equal. these are some of my favourite, from all price ranges, textures and a couple of finishes, that agree with my light-medium olive complexion.
oooh, I definitely saved the juiciest for last.
these were my skincare star products for this year, and I believe many will be on my routine for a long long time.
tried and tested by yours truly, I hope you enjoy my recommendations. make a good use out of any sales that show up online — that’s how I get most of my skincare. now don’t forget to share your favourites!
for now, I wish you happy holidays, stay warm, cozy, and stress-free, and I’ll see you in 2018!
reaching the end of the year, it’s time to look into my stash and highlight the products I’ve discovered throughout the past 12 months that I have enjoyed the most.
today, the eyes…
here I am, shorter hair, don’t care, for the rundown of my favourite makeup finds from 2016. it has been a heck of a year, and I had a lot of trouble sifting through so much awesomeness.
but I think I got it to a pretty nice list. I hope you enjoy!
