the most prosaic what’s in my bag video ever uploaded on YouTube…
sorry, that’s (my) life.
do you want me to do a day-to-night or a makeup freshen-up video with what’s in my makeup bag? let me know.
#flashbeautyreview I'm always on the hunt for a good lightweight SPF that sinks in quickly, looks good under makeup and doesn't break the bank. Part of the famous vitamin E range from The Body Shop, this Moisture-Protect Emulsion with SPF 30 ticks all the boxes. Except for one: because it has perfume added (that's why it smells delicious, just like the rest of the range), I can't get it anywhere near my eye area, because it starts to make my eyes water. So, overall a great product, but I'd be weary of the eye situation.
A little batch of really #hypedproducts arrived yesterday! Two of them are really hard to get ahold of in Portugal, but I got them through @beautylish — no customs faff! I have high expectations for these bad boys. a busy Saturday, this one was, with my doing a bride’s makeup (a nutter, for sure, trusting ME to do her makeup on the most photographed day of her life…), and then my best friend’s wedding…
I had to get ready quite early before the wedding I was attending, so this is what I got into.
Featuring a special contemporary routine by my camera’s auto-focus…
the whole world has done this review and comparison, but I had to see it for myself.
only recently the Real Techniques beauty sponge has been available in store in Portugal, and I’ve been a fan of the Beauty Blender ever since I first used it: these new generation beauty sponges gave us new appreciation for this little rubberised tools – they can blend in foundation or any cream product, apply powder gently or for baking, and even blend away any makeup mishaps. must-haves, in my book.
but, for less than half the price, is the Real Techniques version comparable to the original Beauty Blender?
I thought I’d take you through a day with me.
getting ready for my dad’s cozy birthday dinner, I decided to do a look with all affordable makeup.
and I’m pretty proud of myself, if you couldn’t tell by the dumb smile on the thumbnail photo…
it seems that this winter nobody is putting down their bronzers and self-tanners.
I decided to embrace my paleness and play with soft cool tones for glowy cheeks and ethereal eyes that I could pair with a lip as bold or as toned down as my mood would crave for.
I was quite happy with the result, which I think is super duper fresh, and appropriate for any holiday celebrations…
