Huda Desert Dusk — four looks, one palette

this is one of the most talked about palettes on the interwebs at the moment (until the next must-have release). I had my eyes on it and, despite the steep price, the uniqueness of some of the shades was really intriguing me. I’m happy to say that I’m overall really impressed with this palette. it combines several unique shades, some more on-trend colours and just enough neutrals. it is what a high end palette should be, both in colour and finish variety as in quality: the mattes pack a punch and are easy to blend and build, the metallics are creamy and impactful, the duo-chrome toppers have a gorgeous effect. I’ll never be able to touch that glitter, though, it looks just too crumbly for me to fiddle with.

it is impressive how many different looks you can create with this palette, so I decided to use it today for four (maybe obvious but very beautiful) combinations. when you splash out your hard-earned money, it’s great to know you can make several quite different looks.

I’d say this is a going-out palette — despite giving you the ability to create softer looks, its strong suit is actually the vibrant shades and finishes, and the versatility you can achieve with some quite unique combinations.
yes, I know, the video is long. but come on! it’s four looks for your autumn menu.
