making it sunshiny and yellow and bright and fun (and affordable) for the summer, breaking through the clouds that don’t.go.away, come and sip a cocktail with me, while playing with eyeshadows!
Severely enabled by the rave reviews from the Full Coverage Podcast cool gals to the K Pop beauty collection from Primark, I had to drop by and try some things out.

I got really excited when this brand came out, because of Trinny Woodall and because of the whole new concept behind it.
Trinny Woodall is a well-known face on the fashion and beauty world, as a beauty and style advisor with a strong, bubbly and shameless energy. Her new range of beauty products, unlike so many new launches that one can’t differ from the next, really brings a new concept to the table: a mix versatility, simplicity and LEGOS! This range of really portable products, fuss-free and with the most lightweight and natural finish, will probably appeal to many.
Ok, so the trendy colour for this year — as The Word Of The Internet has declared through that weird abstract decision-maker that is Pantone Colour of the Year — will be Ultra-Violet. All in all, purples will be The Thing. Buckle up.
Albeit a very flattering colour on basically everyone, it’s not considered an “everyday colour” for many. So this is the perfect excuse for me to play with purple and bring you some ideas on how to wear it.
I’m planning a few iterations on purple combos, so keep your eyes peeled. Of course my weapon of choice will always be some smokey eye looks, but let’s just wait and see.
Also, if you’re interested, I can do a blog post with a run down of my purple collection (which is bigger than I anticipated, when I started opening up palettes)… let me know!
I’ll be playing with some autumn-inspired looks, and I’m beginning with a fail-safe colour scheme: grungy brown smokey eyes, cool pink cheeks and glossy nude-y pink lips, on a more matte complexion.
I hope you enjoy this one.
if you’re like me and you don’t like to leave the house without your precious skincare and makeup, but also feel ridiculous by checking in your bag for a 3-day trip just because of the liquids-security issue, this video may just come in handy.
grab a cup of your favourite beverage, because this is going to be a long one…
Here’s another unboxing for you. This one had me wondering about what happened this month and, when I went to do the maths… I got even more suspicious… I talked about it on my Insta Stories, also.
I was going out with some friends that evening, after filming my mini-haul video, so I decided to record myself getting ready, and use some (plenty) of my current favourite products. Some you’re sick and tired of hearing me talk about, some I’ve done reviews on, some may be a new discovery for you.
I hope you enjoy this video. All the links to the products are down below.
This is nothing less than a phenomenon. Due to its very low price (under 7 €) and to the amazing array of colours, the foundations from The Ordinary have been constantly sold out. If you want one, you really have to want it and wait for quite a while…
The Ordinary foundations come in two finishes: Serum (Lower coverage, dewier finish) and Coverage (higher coverage and demi-matte finish). They have no frills nor high claims, and it’s almost a relief to know that. It’s just a foundation.
I managed to get my hands on the Serum version, and that’s what I’m going to talk to you about.
