some skincare and makeup empties
let’s talk about trash, baby
let’s talk about my empties
let’s talk about all the good things and the bad things used by me ;)
used these all up, hardly any regrets.
some I won’t repurchase just because I’m currently going through other products, or because I’ve found some alternatives I prefer. bar from one, these are all winners.
2020 favourites . make up
Some people had huge artistic impulses and took the added time some of us had to play with make up with the freedom of a kid with watercolours. Sadly, it was not my case. Nonetheless, I still found som great gems that became staples in my make up routine, and that let me feel I wasn’t totally falling into a rut.
Here they are…
best in makeup 2018
It’s that time of the year when I pull my hair out trying to make a short list of the products that have amazed me the past 12 months.
I’m just super curious: what are yours?
Happy New Year, everyone!

Primark beauty haul
Severely enabled by the rave reviews from the Full Coverage Podcast cool gals to the K Pop beauty collection from Primark, I had to drop by and try some things out.

Trinny London — a review
I got really excited when this brand came out, because of Trinny Woodall and because of the whole new concept behind it.
Trinny Woodall is a well-known face on the fashion and beauty world, as a beauty and style advisor with a strong, bubbly and shameless energy. Her new range of beauty products, unlike so many new launches that one can’t differ from the next, really brings a new concept to the table: a mix versatility, simplicity and LEGOS! This range of really portable products, fuss-free and with the most lightweight and natural finish, will probably appeal to many.
Ultra-Violet 1
Ok, so the trendy colour for this year — as The Word Of The Internet has declared through that weird abstract decision-maker that is Pantone Colour of the Year — will be Ultra-Violet. All in all, purples will be The Thing. Buckle up.
Albeit a very flattering colour on basically everyone, it’s not considered an “everyday colour” for many. So this is the perfect excuse for me to play with purple and bring you some ideas on how to wear it.
I’m planning a few iterations on purple combos, so keep your eyes peeled. Of course my weapon of choice will always be some smokey eye looks, but let’s just wait and see.
Also, if you’re interested, I can do a blog post with a run down of my purple collection (which is bigger than I anticipated, when I started opening up palettes)… let me know!
autumn looks — grungy brown and pink
I’ll be playing with some autumn-inspired looks, and I’m beginning with a fail-safe colour scheme: grungy brown smokey eyes, cool pink cheeks and glossy nude-y pink lips, on a more matte complexion.
I hope you enjoy this one.
