2020 favourites . make up

Some people had huge artistic impulses and took the added time some of us had to play with make up with the freedom of a kid with watercolours. Sadly, it was not my case. Nonetheless, I still found som great gems that became staples in my make up routine, and that let me feel I wasn’t totally falling into a rut.

Trinny London — a review

I got really excited when this brand came out, because of Trinny Woodall and because of the whole new concept behind it.

Trinny Woodall is a well-known face on the fashion and beauty world, as a beauty and style advisor with a strong, bubbly and shameless energy. Her new range of beauty products, unlike so many new launches that one can’t differ from the next, really brings a new concept to the table: a mix versatility, simplicity and LEGOS! This range of really portable products, fuss-free and with the most lightweight and natural finish, will probably appeal to many.

Ultra-Violet 1

Ok, so the trendy colour for this year — as The Word Of The Internet has declared through that weird abstract decision-maker that is Pantone Colour of the Year — will be Ultra-Violet. All in all, purples will be The Thing. Buckle up.

Albeit a very flattering colour on basically everyone, it’s not considered an “everyday colour” for many. So this is the perfect excuse for me to play with purple and bring you some ideas on how to wear it.

I’m planning a few iterations on purple combos, so keep your eyes peeled. Of course my weapon of choice will always be some smokey eye looks, but let’s just wait and see.
