4 simple ways to red eyeshadow
today I come to you with 4 variations on red, all with no faff, not frills, no complicated techniques. all you’ll need is your fingers and maybe a couple of brushes, at most.
I think red is a colour that suits all skin tones, it’s quite edgy and out of the box, but can be worn in a very sleek, chic, and grungy way. going from very bold, to more subtle, to glittery, I hope I have combined enough ideas for you to overcome any fear of red eyeshadow and it making your eyes look weird or swollen.

favourite makeup finds 2016
here I am, shorter hair, don’t care, for the rundown of my favourite makeup finds from 2016. it has been a heck of a year, and I had a lot of trouble sifting through so much awesomeness.
but I think I got it to a pretty nice list. I hope you enjoy!
what about you? which were the amazing makeup treasures you found in 2016? please do share!
monochromatic look — the pinks
this one was soooo hard for me. I hate seeing myself with pink makeup. I thinks it’s because of my yellow undertones, it always looks… off… oh, well, but I took one for the team, and I managed to pull it off before I chickened out!
monochromatic looks — the berries
juicy berries, from deep wine reds to shiny blue-violets, so much to play with in this week’s monochromatic look. I ended up extending the eyeshadow up to the inner corner of my brow and out, so it became a very fun vintage-inspired glam 20’s flapper vamp thingy.
monochrome looks — the reds
strong, vibrant, fiery reds to… I don’t know… wear as makeup, I guess… eheh
monochromatic looks — the taupes
I’ve challenged myself to do a series of looks based on just one colour/colour family. this week: the taupes!
